Welcome to the Superboat X Blog. My name is Kyle and I am the main writer for this blog. Let me tell you a little about myself. I have been in the computers for about 7 years now. I have always loved playing with computers, even as a kid I was so eager when my parents decided to get our first real computer. I still have it, it’s a Pentium 1 processor and I think it has something like 32 MB of RAM.
I love everything that has to do with the internet. In High School I was always the one who spent all his time on the internet, searching new programs and products. I have loved servers ever since I did an internship at IBM. That is why most of my posts are about new and old servers I have found on the internet.
I created this blog because I have always wanted to write articles on the fun new programs I find. I also wanted to show people how to use them. I am a very visual learner so most of my posts are littered with screen shots. I think that is what sets me apart from most sites out there. I have always been more comfortable using a program if I have seen the screen shots before I install.
Most of the programs that I feature are Open Source. I am a big suporter of open source programs because I feel as though anyone should be able to use the software they need. Again I am a big supporter of Linux, which is why I will post Linux reviews every now and again. If you find something that you think would make a good article just post a comment on any of my articles and I’ll check it out!
I also work for a company called SupportSpace. I do remote computer support using their technology. I also run a small consulting business and do anything form support to web design. Enter your number in the box below to leave me a voicemail.
